MAWSON'B POLAR EXPEDITION
SIS B. SEACKIiETON'S EEPOBT. (By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright). LONDON, March 20. Received March 20, 10.30 p.m. Sir E. Shackleton has paid a generous tribute to Dr Douglas Mawson, in connection with Antarctic exploration, and has added that Australasia gave the first official help to the 1907 expedition, and that he hoped the Home Country would not be behind in showing sympathy with the Australasian expedition.
