THE SECOND WOOL SALE.

There was again a good attendance of buyers, bat the competition Wus not nearly so spirited as at the December sale, and prices, as was expected Were lower; Use medium classes of wool, especially ewes, suffering most, the drop in values ranging from 'gfi to Id per lb. Bellies and pieces sold well in comparison to the prices got for the fleece Wool, but not up to the high values got in Lecember by from -;m1 to p..d per lb. Growers aero in most ca-es prepared to meet the market, aval we were able to clear the hulk of out catalogue at auction or immediately afterwards.
