Crowe was approved, and exemption residence granted during the pleasure of the Board. Application to transfer section 53, block IS. Jacob’s River Hundred (50 acres), from Percy Perry to E. F. Deegau was recommended for the approval of tiie Minister. —Lost Leases.— Messrs Armstead, Hunter and Talt intimated that leases of sections 9, 58 and 59, block V, Longwood District (John Hart), were destroyed when their Riverton offices were burned, and applied for new leases.—Granted at 5s each. —Thirds and Fourths. —- Tiie Wallace County Council submitted proposals for tiie expenditure of royalties for period Ist May, 1910 to 31st July, 1911), amounting to £473 His lOd royalties. Approved; Receiver authorised to pay over the amounts. —Plans for Approval.— Chief Surveyor forwarded plan of sections 35 to 47, block ill, Alton District (survey by Mr Drury;.—Plan passed. Mrs M. E. Jennings applied for exemption from residence on sections 23, 30b, 34 and 35, block HI. Campbelllown Hundred.—Granted exemption during the pleasure of the Board, Mrs X, Argyle and Robert Lewis wrote relative to section 147e, block I, Brydone Village, which stood in tiie name of D. McLean (deceased). —Forfeited. G. \V. Pliillipson applied for the right to lake gravel from part of section 5, block XII. Campbelllown Hundred, tiie urea applied for being situated to the south-east of Urwin’s claim.—Granted at £1 per annum, to expire co-termin-ously with Hie other leases over the section. J. Al. Ward offered 10s per annum for a grazing riglil over 50 acres at Wakapatu in blocks VII and VIII, Longwood District. (Ranger Cameron reported no objection to the granting of the application).—Granted, subject to existing- and future mining rights, at 12s Gd 'per annum. Catherine Neilson offered 5s for a grazing right over JO acres in block X. Longwood District. (Ranger Cameron reported no objection and rent reasonable). —Grunted, subject to existing and fulure mining rights. Roderick McDonald offered 5s per annum for a grazing right over land in otapiri River near houndary of sections 93 and 129, Forest Hill Hundred. — Gran led James Wybrow offered IDs per annum for a grazing right over- section 8, block XV, Wuikawa District.—Ranger to report. H. Ciithhortson applied for a refund of £l, being rent paid for grazing right over section 7, block 1, Wairio Villager Refused. D. Sprout offered IDs per acre for a grazing right over sections 0 to 20, block XXV, Waikaia Township, containing 3(f. acres.—To be offered at auction for a "term of 14 years at an upset of 10s per acre per annum. O. Acker applied to lie allowed valuation for liis improvements on one acre, being part of section 9, idock I, Alton District. —Refused, but any improvements effected may be removed al. the end of the term. . A. Cochrane applied for permission to surface sow an area of 2000 acres of Pastoral Run 301, Recommended for Die approval of the Minister of Lands. The Board transacted s.omo business to committee, and adjourned.
