The Parliamentary Committee of the Employers' Federation has written to the Minister of Internal Affairs expressing general approved of the Public Holidays' Bill, but suggesting that Bank holidays fee still further reduce'!. It is pointed ■out that Saints’ days were not observed by other portions of the community, and that they are unnecessary and cause inconvenience to business people. The Fedoration, therefore, suggests the deletion from the list of Bunk holidays of St. Patrick’s' Day. St. George’s Day, and St. Andrew’s Day.
