THE LATE KING.
“I SHALL FIGHT IT OUT.” HIS STUBBORN RESISTANCE. (By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright). PERTH. June S. (Received June 9, 12.30 a.m.) News by mail in regard to the late King’s death shows that his physicians tried without success to dissuade him from going to Sandringham, where he caught a second and fatal chill. He was equally difficult to control when he returned to the palace. The following statement, is attributed to him: "No; my back is to the wall, and I shall light It out." He submitted himself finally to the doctors only eight hours .before he died.
