BANK TAKES PRECAUTIONS. By Telegraph.—Press Association.—Copyright. BRUSSELS, April 28. Tho Bank of Belgium, owing to successful forgery which has been carried out, Is issuing a temporary thousand franc note of new design. BOOKMAKERS SWINDLED. SYDNEY, April 29. During the late Randwlck meeting bookmakers accepted a number of forged five pound notes. Yesterday over 130 similar notee were found in an outhouse in the vicinity of the course.
