Egyptian Frontier Dispute

The Times emphasising the willingness of Egypt to agree; to a mixed commission to delimit the frontier of Sinai peninsula, provided the Turkish troops at Tabah and Galdab are withdrawn, warns the Sultan that he is making a dangerous experiment, and that tho sooner he withdraws his illegal and pro vocative occupation the better, as it is the settled resolve of all parties in Britain not to allow anybody to meddle with or mar the great work accomplished in Egypt. LONDON, April 26. Received 26th, at 11.59 p.m. The Inniskilling Dragoons are; proceeding -to 'Egypt. AWAUT N G CONFIRM AT lON. Received 27th, at 12.42 a.m. There is rfn unconfirmed report that, the First Division of General French's First Army Corps has been instructed to prepare to mobilist. It is hinted that it is intended for Soutli Africa, but if the report be confirmed it is likelier to be owing to the Sultan’s bellicose attitude. CAIRO, April 26. Received 27th, at 12.18 a.m. The Sultan has replied to the Kh> dive unfavourably, and further discussion of the Tabah incident now rests between Britain and the Porte.
