At an impiest concerning the death of Michael Dundon who was killed In: a fall of clay at Olenuiore the jury expressed the opinion that when a section of clay was being loosened a man should bo on top of the faceto report any tendency to open out for the protection of those working below. William Kennedy, fanner at tlreon Park, was gored by a bull to-day and died from the shock. THAMES, Jan. SO. While riding at Matatoki races Alfred Maxwell, son of a settler, sustained severe injuries through his horse falling, and now lies unconscious and in a critical condition. LYTTELTON, Jan. 30. The body of Henry Creasey, fireman on the tug Lyttelton, who has been missing for some days, was found this morning flouting in the harbour, near where the tug was lying. The back of his skull was fractured, and hik watch had stopped at live minutes past one. He was last seen about 10 p.m.
