Three occupants (George Russell, grain broker, his daughter, and a youth named Burton) were killed and two sisters named Callender were seriously injured. The Inspector of Bxplosives reports that the recent bursting of military rifles was caused by the insertion of two bullets in one cartridge, the result of a defect of the automatic .filling machine.
