SOUTHLAND BOYS WIN. Per United Press Association. DUNEDIN, Sept. 4. The ihterprovincial schools football match Otago v. Southland was played on Tahuna. Park to-day. Tho Southland boys towered above their opponents and with this advantage it was only a question of how many points they could win by. Playing with- the wind in the first spell the Otago boys scored a try, which was converted,i and the Southland lads scored two tries. In the second spell the Southlanders scored four tries and Lee potted a goal from a penalty kick, Southland winning by 21 to 5. For the. visitors tries were scored by Timpany (2), Reidy (2), Thomson and Stanway.
