A NEW AGREEMENT.

BERLIN, May 4
The Lokal Anzeiger learns that the Marshall Island dispute lias been settled, and that a fresh agreement has been concluded between the Government and the Jaluit commencing on Ist April, 1906. Iho Government has withdrawn the subsidy paid for administration, and wifi reduce the Customs duties from next October. The German Colonial Office is reticent, alleging that negotiations with Britain have not been definitely concluded, though there is little doubt a satisfactory agreement will bo reached.
