There wps a large yarding of all classes of stocki. Beef showed a still further decline ; good sorts pf store sheep sold rather better than last week ; fat lambs and sheep manifested no change in val-

ues ; store cattle met with a very dull sale, while there was nn active demand for good dairy cows.

Store Streep—A fairly large yarding and slightly improved demand for the belter classes of lambs and bj’coding at 14s lOd to 22s 3d. Lambs, Ils 7d to 14s Gd. Fat Lambs—3ooo entered, and 2700 were taken for freezing '■ 17s Id to 19s, tegs 18s to 20s, butchers’ lots 15s to 19s. ... Fat Sheep—Prime wethers 22s to 24s 9d, lighter 19s Gd to 21s 6d, prime heavy ewes 20s to 22s lOd, medium 17p to 19s 6d, inferior 14s to 16s Od. Fat Cattle—279 entered ; only a small proportion' of really prime. The sale was exceptionally dull. Steers made £6 12s Gd to £9 15s, heifers £5 5s to £7 10s, cows £4 to £6 7s Gd. Store Cattle—The sale was an exceptionally dull one. Calves 18s to 20s, yearlings 25s to 355, 15 to l 18-months 40s to 50s, 2yr heifers 50s, 3yr steeirs £4 ss, 3yr heifers £3 15s, dry cows £2 to £3 ss, potters 20s to 50s. dairy cows to £lO. Pigs_A large yarding and a good demand. Baconers 45s to 55s and to ,62s for heavy-weights, porkers 30s to 365, large stores 25s to 325, medium 17s 6d to 245, weaners 10s to 12s 6d, suckers 5s to 7s 6d.
