CANNIBALISTIC FEUD
SYDNEY, May 3 Received 3rd, 9.37 p.m. News from the Solomon Islands reports tribal fighting in the group, attended by cannibalism. An encounter at sea occurred between tl.e natives of Alla and those of the neighbouring island of San Christoval. The latter were victorious and when the steamer sailed tile Alla natives had despatched several c&n Loes across the hundred miles of sea between the islands to attack the foe.
