Per United Press Association. DUNEDIN, April 19. Fat Cattle—2o9 yarded, mostly medium. The demand slackened towards the close of the sale, and prices were ffiiuch lower. Best bullocks brought up to £S Ills ; medium, to £7 ; inferior, £5 15s ; best cows and heifers, ’£6 10s to £7 Ills: medium, £5 to £5 15s: inferior and light, £3 7s fid to £4 ss. Fat Sheep—l7o6 penned, principally medium wethers and ewes* ■ Prices for primo were a shade lower than last week) Best wethers, 21s to 22s fid-extra, 21s 9d ; medium, 18s fid to 19s 9d. Lest owes, 20s to 21s 9d medium, 17s to 19s ; inferior, 14s to 15s 6d. Fat Lambs—2oo penned. Prices ’.were pood all round, and all were readily sold at up to 17s 3d for best. Pigs-170 penned. Prices for suckers ■mid £lips were extremely low. Suckers 2s to 5s ; slips, 9s to 12s Gd : stores. 15s to 19s fld: porkers, 24s to 32s ; heavy do, 38s ; baconers, 40s to 50s ’; big pig s , 80s.
