Messrs J. A. Mitchell and .Co. report having held their weekly sale in the Prince of Wales yardß on Saturday, when they had over 50 horses of all classes. The draughts, with the exception of four or five good useful horses, were a very middling, aged lot, and ihe bulk of them decidedly the Aoise of wear, being in the majority of cases clean out of condition. For a superior six-year-o'd gelding there was keen competition, and ho eventually changed hands at £48 ; other aged animals selling at from £20 to £30 ; aged and inferior nut in request A strong light harness hoise, Buhable for a milk cart, brought £34; other upstanding light harnes3 horses from £17 10s to £19 10s ; ordinary useful sorts, £10 to £15 ; lighter, £4 to £8.
