SYDNEY, Dec. 15.
In the report of the Murray River Commission the weight of evidence supports irrigation as of greater importance than navigation. One of the smallpox patients is dead.
BRISBANE, Dec. 15.
A'cyclono struck Brookville, and a number of houses were levelled. It unroofed a church and English mission hall. Hail as large as teacups fell, smashing all the glass in its track. Five inches of rain were recorded. -
