New Century Curler Co. + — _ — The first meeting of shareholders in this company was held yesterday evening, when there was a large attendance. The curler is oa sale in the United States, and a consignment for New Zealand left New York early in January. Messrs D. W. McKay and E. R. Godward were authorised to proceed to Melbourne to complete arrangements already entered upon for the manufacture of the curlers there, and to appoint selling agents for the Commonwealth. The saving effected by the company through manufacturing in the colonies is expected to be considerable. These representatives will visit the principal centres in Australia and New Zealand to introduce the business of the company. It was reported that Continental rights were being negotiated for.
