LETTER CARRIERS' DELIVERY. Deliveries liy Letter Carriers are made daily. Town delivery at 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. Suburban delivery at 9 a.m. MAILS WILL CLOSE AS FOLLOWS : Saturday, 3rd November. For the Australian Colonies excep Tasmania per s.s. Longships from Bluff to Melbourne direct, at 4.30 p.m. Money Orders at noon ; Registered letters and parcels at 3.30 p.m. Tuesday, 6th November. For Natal and Cape Colony at 2.45 p.m. For the United Kingdom and the Continent of Europe (via Naples), India, China, Straits Settlements, Aden, Egypt, and the Australian Colonies, per s.s. Mokoia, at 2.45 p.m. Money Orders and Registered Letters at 1.45 p.m. Parcels for Australian Colonies at 1.45 p.m The English mail of this despatch will be due in London on 16th December. Note — Mails will close at Auckland for Kermandec Islands on 3rd November ; for Fiji on 21st November ; and for Raratonga and Tahiti on 29th November. Note — Parcels mails for the United States of America will not close until 4th December • there being no parcels mail for San Francisco this month. C. A. TIPPING, Acting Chief Postmaster.
