Explanation.
TO THE EDITOR Sir,—ln reply to your comment in today’s issue on the race for the Senior Fours, I have to state that the stoppage of our boat was due to the stroke’s losing bis seat. In connection therewith the Bluff Regatta Committee held a full investigation last night, and the explanation given by me was unanimously considered satisfactory by that body.—l. am, &c. W.
