RAN INTO A FENCE. The other day a novice riding a Stak ran at fall speed against a pickei fence. He was thrown to the ground, but not hurt. The fence remained intact, but the front forks of the bicycle were damaged and the machine unridable. Ibe cycle came to the works in a carriers van ; in half an hour the damaged fork had been replaced by a new one, and the novice went on his way thanking his Stars, and the interchangeable parts.
