Wellington, April 1

The Government have decided to recommend his Excellency to amsnd the Order-in-Council lately issued prohibiting the landing of boned ust. The alteration will allow of bonedust being landed if accompanied by a declaration that the bones had been subjected to a heat of at lease 274 degrees before beiDg crushed. It hag also been decided to remove the resfcrictiotr on hides bo far aa requiring that they should be taken direct from the ship's side to a tannery.
