J. G. Ward and Co report for the week ending Tuesday, 29th March : — We held auction sales of stock during the week T,t Thornbury, Otautau and Gore. On each occasion the yards were well filled with all clashes of shtep ; not many cattle otlVring. The brisk demand noted for the past month for youDg crossbred ewes and for-ward-couditinned wethers still continues; a ,eH ewes and inferior sorts selling in proportion equally high.
