Dunedin, Nov. 26. The mayoral election to-day resulted in the retuin of Mr John Carroll, who polled 1051 votes to 561 polled by hia opponent, Mr M. Sinclair. Nelson, Nov. 26. At the mayoral election Mr Francis Trask defeated Mr A. Pitt by nine votes.
