SYDNEY, May 21. In the Wesleyan Conference a motion to give an annual conference to which a minister belongs, the right to assent or dissent to his removal to another conference was negatived by a large majority. In the House of Assembly a motion requesting the Government to introduce a bill to tax absentees was negatived by 29 to 22.
