ARRIVAL OF THE SAX FRANCISCO MAIL

Auckland, Dec. 13,
The R.M.S. Alameda anived from Sao Francisco at 1.30 p.m., with the English mail, 60 passengers, and 1200 tons cargo. She.left 'Frisco at 4.10 p.m. on 23rd Nov., arrived at Honolulu on Nov. 30th at 5.30 a.m., left at 9.27 a.m. on Ist inst., arriving as above. Her time was 18 days 23£ hours ; running time, 17 days 18 hours 33 minutes. The s.s. Zealandia sailed from 'Frisco Nov. 23rd at 2 p.m.; arrived at Honolulu on Nov. 30th at 1 p m., and sailed Dec. Ist at 12.20 p.m. Passengers per Alameda for Auckland — Mr and Mrs Mann and two children, Messrß Haricot, Morris, Prescott, Heamany, Muldra, Manning, Marice, Branfield. For Sydney— 32 saloon. Woodyaar's circus are through passengers for Sydney. Tbe Alameda sails for Sydney shortly after midnight. The Alameda bas undergone extensive alterations and improvements to fit ber for the mail service.
The s.s. Penguin, with the southern 'Frisco mail, leaves Onehunga at 4 o'clock to-morrow morning.
