A communication has been received by Her Majesty's Government from the Khedive of Egypt, informing them of a terrible massacre which has taken place at Berber. The populace, who were reduced to a state of starvation, rose en masse and took possession of the Treasury. The garrison endeavoured to repel the insurgents, and great loss of life resulted. ST. PETERSBURG, Aug. 24. His Imperial Highness tbe Czarewitch j left 1 o-day for Kremsir, a town in Moravia, at which place he will meet their I Imperial Majestieß the Emperor and Empress of Austria. MADRID, Aug. 24. An immense concourse of people assembled in this city to-day, upwards of 30,000 persons being present.
