(REUTER'S TELEGRAMS.) Eeceived Is'ov. 28, 1882, 12 30 p.m. MELBOURNE, Nov. 28. A splendid rainfall, accompanied by a thunderstorm, has been general throughout Victoria. The overland telegraph line from Adelaide to Port Darwin is interrupted. Received Nov. 29, 1882, 1.25 a.m. MELBOURNE, Nov. 28. Mr Beaney (sic) has instituted an action at law against the proprietors of the Argus for having published an article commenting unfavorably upon his public career in connection with the election proceedings. Damages are laid at £10,000.
