Home-nursing of the Sick.
- — — — ■•■ to the editor. Sir, — By advertisement in another column I have invited those interested to secure a series of valuable lectures for the ladies of Invercargill. From private sources as well as from the public press I have ascertained that Mrs Moore's lectures have been well received and favorably commented upon throughout New Zealand, and that she is willing to come here if desired. Mrs Moore holds two certificates of proficiency from the ,; S f , John of Jerusalem Ambulance Society," and her object in lecturing is chiefly philanthropic. Being obliged by private business to live in New Zealaad, she is employing her time and talents in this manner, hoping to gather means sufficient to justify her in starting a small Nursing Home. There are details in : connection with her visit which can be better arranged by discussion than by an individual, therefore I have called the meeting, and those whom she seeks to instruct may desire to be assured of the worth and object of her lectures, therefore I am writing to the press. — I am, &c, J. Hobbs. All Saints' -Parsonage, Gladstone, 29th August, 1882.
