[aBUTEIVS TELEGRAMS.] LONDON, Nov. 24. The bank rate of discount is o per cent., and the market rate 4£ per cent. The total reserve in notes and bullion in the Bank of England is £10,750,000. Adelaide wheat, ex warehouse, is 57s ; New Zealand wheat, 52s 6d ; Adelaide flour, ex store, is at 425. There is only a limited demand for Australian hides, and prices are one-eighth of a penny lower. At the wool sales to-day 7800 bales were catalogued. A firm and active demand was experienced. CONSTANTINOPLE, Nov. 24. A difficulty has arisen between the Turkish and Greek Governments regarding the existence of a Greek Post-office in this Mty. The matter has formed tho subject of lengthy diplomatic communications, and as no settlement could be arrived at the Porte has now peremptorily ordered the closing of the office. It has transpired that Mr Bourke, the Turkish bondholders' delegate, did his utmost during the progress of the negotiations with the Ottoman Financial Commission to support the Government in its refusal to agree to the demand of the Russian Ambassador that the question of payment of the war indemnity should bo dealt with simultaneously with the claims of the foreign bondholders. BERLIN, Nov. 25. At a meeting of the Reichstag to-day Piince Bismarck made a statement in which he alluded to the situation of the Government in view of the result of the recent elections. The Chancellor announced thai in case of the failure of the projects which he would lay before Parliament he would resign the conduct of home affairs, entrusting the same to the Vice-President of the Council, while he would himself alone retain the control of the foieign affairs of the Empire.
