(Before M. Price, Esq., R. M.) Saturday, 30th Mat. Drunkards.— Wm. Turner and Henry Spiers, were each fined ss. for this offence. Monday, Ist June. Drunkard. — Win. Miller was fined ss. for being drunk. Alleged Lunacy. — Wm. Miller was brought up on remand, charged with being of unsound mind. The medical testimony went to prove that Miller was quite sensible, and fit to be at large. The eccentricities complained of arising from drunkenness. The Resident Magistrate observed that it would be necessary to deal with defendant in future under the Vagrant Act, and cautioned defendant tlf at if he appeared in Court again, under a similar charge, he would be sent to prison.
