MELBOURNE COMMERCIAL

Melbourne, Feb. 20. There have not been any transactions worth recording to day. In the import market there has heen scarcely any inquiry for goods. Country demand has been dull. Oats and other descriptions of horse corn continue in steady riemand, but other kinds of grain are in but moderate request. By auction no sales of any importance hive been effected. Business in tho slack and share market lias been scarcely so active as during last week. Prices, however, are sustained. — Argus.
