Drunkards.— Elizabeth Crawford, whose bash, fulness on the previous day resulted in her being remanded for twenty -four hours, was again placed, i in the dock. This amiable and fascinating lady, ■'. after casting several languishing glances at hispj worship, but all to no purpose, was fined 2Os, or, . forty-eight hours imprisonment. Nicholls wng e i charged with using abusive and threatening lan- ' guage to Captain Irving, of the schooner May-tT flower, and was fined £5, or in default, one month's *' imprisonment. _ r BREAcn of Cattle Trespass Ordinance.—,.. William Haggart, Benjamin Bain, John Wild, and^ .T. M. M'Clure were charged with allowing theirie horses to stray in the public streets, and were fined*)] 5s each and costs. '".
