Campbelltown Road.— Earthwork on and noar the Mokomoko Range; cuttings on hill; about 30 chains length in all, estimated to contain B,UOO cubic yards, partly Ctone; constructing 2 culverts of rubble stone; covering the roadway, about 75 chains, with Manuka fascines, 1 foot thick, and forming thereon, and on the natural surface, for 18 chains at the south end of bush— with the material from the cutting— embankments averaging 21 feet wide and 1 foot 6 inches high at crown, about 90 chains in all; metalling the whole length, 123 chains, with stone from the cut tings (broken to pass through a 3-inch ring.) 14 feet wide, 8 inches deep in centre, and 6 inches at sides Tenders may be delivered till Ist December. 138 Say.— Tenders for the supply of the best Meadow or Oat'n Hay to the Provincial Government Stables will continue to be received till noon of 29th instant. 141. Blacklock and White's sections, to commence at the termination of the gravel nnd continued over the sand to the hard ground ; clay to be taken from the roadsides in the immediate neighborhood: at per chain, or for the whole work. SEALED TENDERS will be received at this Office on or before the 6th December next, from persona willing to carry Mails between Invehcargiil and the Matauea Feret twice weekly, each way, from the Ist day of Junuary to 81st December, 1862, and for s-ch further period as the Postmaster may see fit to continue the contract, either party having power to determine the same at, or at any time after, the expiry of the peiiods now stated, three calendar months notice of the snme in writing having been previously given. The days and hour 3of departure from, and arrival at each station, to be fixed from time to time by the Postmaster.
