The Banks have reduced their selling rate of exchange on Eugland foi 60 days to par, and have lowered the rate of discount on two mdnths' bills to 7 per cent. The other rates remain at 8 per cent, for three months' bills, aud 9 per cent, for four months. A limited amount of business in Stock and Share market. Flour and Wheat markets dull, with easier tendency. Higher rates reported in Adelaide. Malt, dull oi sale. Horse Cora firm in price — P.'ces: Fine Flour, 13/. to 131. 10s; Or.tmea 1 ., colonial, 451. ; Pearl Barley, 361. per ton; Brau, Is 4d per bushel ; Wheri-, 5s 6d to 5s 9d per do. Tobacco market continues unsettled. At sales by auction, good descriptions withdrawn for full rates. About 25C c .ses aromatic, various brands, from 2s 7d to 2s lOd per lb; withered and inferior, from 7d to lOd per lb. A package damaged twist, 3s, and a parcel fair quality at 4s per lb. in bond. No changes worthy of remark in other imported goods. Quotations repeated.
