. Harbour Hoard monthly meeting next Friday. Our enterprising townsman. Mr G. A. Whoaller, is contemplating the erection 01' an auction mart, combined with offices, etc. on a section next to the town hall site. There is no reason why such a venture should not be successful, as the township is rapidly growing, and such an institution is one of the requisites of modern trade and commerce. Mrs and Mr G. R. George arrived home from their Northern tour on Thursday evening. Mr George looks in the pink of health, and has certainly benefited largely by his trip. We are glad to welcome him back.
