DEATH THROUGH A DROPPED MATCH. An inquest was held at Dublin recently on Mary Hughes, nursemaid to Mrs Conlaghan, daughter of Sir George Moyers. Sir George said that he and his daughter were in xhe drawing room when they heard shrieks, and the girl came runningupstairs a mass of flame. The flames were extinguished and the girl was taken to the hospital. On the way she said that she had lit a candle with a wax match, which she must have dropped unextinguished on the floor, for when she knelt down to say her prayers she found her flannelette clothing on fire.
