INVERCARGILL 'AND BLUFF. Theatre-goers of Invercargill and the Bluff will no doubt be pleased to learn of the reappearance of one of the most popular entertainers who has ever visited New Zealand, viz., Val. Vousden, of Ireland-. The Zealandia Hall, Invercargill, will be visited on Friday, September 21st, and the Drill Hall, Bluff, on next Monday evening, September 17th. Although it is now over two years since Mr Vousden presented his delightful entertainments in these parts, the memory of the laughter which he then’ created has not been forgotten by a large number of the amusement lovers throughout the district.. His recent season of ten nights at Wellington constitutes a record for any monologne entertainment in the history of New Zealand, and the press reports of his still more recent return season at the Princess Theatre, Dunedin are unanimous in their praise of an entertainment which is at once refined, intensely amusing, and instructive. Apart from his famous creations of "Mrs O’Rourke" and the "Galloping Horse" Mr Vousden will present all his original impersonations and imitations, which will include his remarkable impersonations of local characters. There is every reason to predict crowded audiences with this clever entertainer on the dates mentioned above.
