Mitchell and Co. report that on Saturday last they offered on account .Mr Alex Agnew the racehorse Eremack (StepniakSailrock), Mr John Adamson being the purchaser at £2B; the trotting horse Not Yet, by Lincoln Yet, to Mr T. A. Stone, at £SO ; the trotting pony Wilkie was passed, the owner’s reserve not being reached. Draughts brought £46 to £35 for young sound animals, the higher price for a five-year-old filly; aged, active horses £3O to £2O, old and stiff £lO downwards, spring carters £22, £l4 10s, hacks and light harness horses £l6 to £lO, ordinary £6 to £3 for weedy aged sorts.
