WAIKIWI.

A wedding of local interest took place at All Saints’, Gladstone, on the 6th inst., when Mr J. J. Miller, eldest son of Mr P. Miller, Waikiwi, was married to Miss Webb, second daughter of Mr W. Webb, Groper’s Bash. The ceremony was performed by ”tbe vicar, Rev. Mr Swinbarn. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a pretty dress of cream nun’s veiling, trimmed with lace and white satin, with the orthodox veil and bouquet. She was attended by three bridesmaids —Miss ET. Miller, sister of the bridegroom, and two of his nieces, Miss A. Bjre and Miss C. Blomfield. The bridesmaids wore dresses of white muslin. The bridegroom was attended by Mr J. Webb, brother of the bride. The wedding breakfast took place at the residence of the bridegroom’s parents, and in the evening a dance was also given there, at which some 80 dancers footed it merrily till five a.mi next day. The happy young couple were the recipients of a number of gifts.
