BIG PRICES FOR COWS.

Messrs Wright, Stephenson & Co. report having held a very successful sale of dairy cows on account of Mr George Conley, in the Dipton sale yards on Thursday week. Values ruled high throughout, the first five cows bringing respectively £ll 2s 6d, £ll, £lO 10s, £lO 7s 6d, and £lO. The whole herd, with the exception of five untried heifers and aged cows, realised an average of £9 Os fid. A number of outside entries sold at from £5 5s to £7.
