Hens, Is 9d to 2s 4d"; roosters to 2s 10d; ducks, 2s 3d to 2s 6d ; several fancy fowls as high as 5s each. Turkeys— Gobblers, 8s to 11s. Pigs —35 penned and prices high. Suckers, 21s 3d to 15s 6d; weaners to :22s 6d. Potatoes —Derwents, £4 to £4 10s; white, £4. Onions—Canterbury, 6s 6d ; Victorian, 8s sd. Wheat—l4s to 16s 6d per bag. Oats—Prom 3s 9d to 7s 6d per bag. Barley—-12s 6d to 14s per bag. Oilcake—l2s per cwt. Honey—4d per lb. Fruit—Bananas, 17s 6d ; oranges, 8s ; mandarins, 8s 6d ; lemons, 9s ; apples, .8s 6d to 12s; pines, 9s ; seyilles, 10s.
