PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that Wednesday, the 15th day of October instant, has been appointed as the day for taking the poll of burgesses of that part of the North Ward of the Borough of Invercargill known as Northend, upon the proposal of the Council of the said Borough, to borrow the sums of £2500, £ISOO, and £IOOO, amounting in the whole to the sum of £SOOO, for constructing and establishing certain Public Works required for promoting the convenience and health of the inhabitants of that part of the said North Ward of the Borough of Invercargill aforesaid, known as Northend, "and which said proposal was published in the Southland Times newspaper on the Ist, Bth, 15th, and 22nd September, 1902. And notice is further given that the said poll will be taken at the Municipal Council Hall, Kelvin street, and will commence at nine o’clock in the forenoon and close at seven o’clock in the afternoon of the 15th day of October instant.
