NOTICE is hereby given that the South land County Council propose to make on the Bth August, 1902, the following rates on all the ratable property on tbs Valuation Lists of the several Ridings of Southland County for the period beginning Ist April, 1902, and ending 81st March, 1903, namely ; —A General Rate of one penny and onetwentieth of a penny (Id 1-20) in the pound on the unimproved value, and a Hospitals and Charitable Aid Rate of nine-fiftieths of a penny (9 50d) in the pound on the capital value, all due and payable in one sum at the office of the Southland County Council, Invercargill, on the first day of September, 1902 ; and that the Rate Books are now open for inspection.
