Russell, horse dealer, Gore, who had, he said, in 2-| years gone through, in horse-racing and betting, £SOO from the sale of a farm and £3OO more. In the case of Malachi Hanley, Gore, the order of discharge was extended over twelve months, His Honour remarking that Hanley had been trading in a most reckless manner. An order for discharge in the case of Robert Fleck, Riverton, was opposed on behalf of Noah Keen, who had gained a verdict for £SOO against Fleck for the loss of a limb while working a threshing mill.
