Messrs McKay Bros.’ weekly report of actual sales 'in Exchange Sale Rooms for week ending Saturday, February 22nd, 1902 : Cows —Four entered, three sold, £4 15s, £5 2s 6d, £6 10s. Poultry—29o penned, very poor quality; table birds, Is to Is 3d ; chicks and scrubs, 6d to lOd ; ducks, Is 5d to Is 9d each ; geese, 4s each. Pigs—42 entered, and prices very high ; weaners, 10s 6d to 16s ; small slips, 17s to 22s 6d each. Potatoes—£3 10s per ton. Onions—Bs 6d per cwt. Pollard and bran—Wholesale rates. Chaff —70s to 80s. Oats—l2s 6d per bag. Oatmeal —-17s per bag. Teviot fruit—Plums, 2d to 3d; apricots, 24d to 34d ; peaches, 3d to 4d; pears, 7s 6d to 12s per case; apples, 2s 6d to 9s ; tomatoes, 44d to 6d per lb—sales daily. Melbourne fruit—Bananas, 15s to 17s ; pears, 16s 6d; pines, 10s.
