SITTING- OF ASSESSMENT COURT under ‘ The Government Valuation of Land Act Amendment Act 1900.’ It ia hereby notified that an Aesessment Court consisting of SAMUEL EARNEST McCARTHY, Esq., Stipendiary Magistrate, THOMAS GREEN, Esq., and WILLIAM FORRESTER, Esq,, will, in accordance with ‘The Government Valuation of Land Act Amendment Act, 1900,’ sit at the Court House, Invercargill, on Monday, May 6th, at 11 a.m for the purpose of hearing objections to the revised District Valuation Rolls for the AWARUA RIDING, OUTLYING INVERCARGILL ROAD DISTRICT (merged), and OTERAMIKA ROAD DISTRICT. BOROUGH OF INVERCARGILL. PORK FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION* NOTICE is hereby given that, after Taesday next, the 30th inst, all pork of every description (fresh and cured) for human consumption within the Borough of Invercargill must be slaughtered and inspected at the Invercargill Abattoirs, and, further, notice is hereby given that every person who sells any pork in contravention of this notice is liable to Police Court proceedings and a fine of £2O (twenty pounds sterling) and th« forfeiture of his license "to sell meat.
