OREPUKI SHALE WORKS.
A deputation of directors of the company owning the Orepuki Shale Works waited on the Hon. J. G. Ward in Dunedin to urge the advisableness of an adjustment of freights for the special products of the works. The Minister promised to look into the matter with a view to giving relief when adjusting the rates on his return from Melbourne.
