TEAMS MATCH.
Next Wednesday will witness the second stage of the iorps teams match, range 300yds, 7 shots, the Club’s range being used. The following teams have been sent in :
Rifle Club. —Messrs Joe Johnston (capt.), Roach, Johnston, MacKenzie, Knee, W. Smith, Denly, Kightly, Buchanan and fi. Smith ; emergencies', J. Ritchie and A. Thomson. City Guards. —Capt. Murphy, Col.Serg. Murdoch, Sergts. Walsh, Wills and McKay, Corps. Robinson, Praser and Padget, Privs. Anderson and Harper; emergency, Priv; Olsen. Oreti Rifles (from the following).— Lieut. Lennie (capt.), Col-Sergt. O’Toola, Sergts. Lennie and Boyce, Corps. Lyall and Thomson, Bugler Uiquhart, Privs. Grant, Lee, Young, Weavers, Jacquiery and Dali. Mounted Rifles. —Lieuts. Wallace (capt.), Russell, Serg.-Major Wesney, Corps. Norton, Cunningham and Todd, Trs. Munro, Padget and Howorth ; emergencies, Trs, Brown and Seed. The regulations governing the competition are ciowded out this week owing to pressure of other matter, but will be given next week.
