POSTAL NOTICE.
LETTER CARRIERS’ DELIVERY, Deliveries by Letter Carriers are made daily. Town delivery at 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. Suburban delivery at 9 a.m. MAILS WILL CLOSE AS FOLLOWS: Wednesday, 14th November. For Natal and Cape Colony at 3.30 p.m. For the United Kingdom and the Continent of Europe (via Brindisi), India, China, Straits Settlements, Aden, Egypt, and the Australian Colonies, per s.s. Monowai (leaving Wellington, 16th inst.), at 3.30 p.m. Money Orders and Registered Letters at 2.30 p.m. The English mail of this despatch will be due in Loudon on 23rd December. Note. —Mails will close at Auckland for Fiji on 21st November; for Tonga, Samoa, and Fiji on 28th Nov.; and for Raratonga and Tahiti on 29th November. At Sydney for Natal and Cape on 29th inst, and 4th December. Tobacco is now admitted by parcel post into Cape Colony, subject to the usual customs dues, which are, however, remitted, when a parcel is addressed to officers and men on active military service. G.
