RIFLE MATCH.
The annual shooting match, officers versus sergeants, of the district, will be fired on Wednesday next at Gr'asmere, weather and circumstances permitting. The use of the Rifle Club’s range has been obtained for the match, and both posts will be used so that no undue haste should take place, but at the same time as the afternoon is yet short, needless delays will be undesirable. Seven shots with sighters at 300 and 500 yards are the ranges for the contest, the teams being as follows : Officers. —Capts. Murphy, Boyne, Hazlett and Bowler, Lieuts. Domigan, Wallace, Lennie, Hawkins, Russell and Goldsmith. Eraergs., Captain Dunlop, LieuW». Kichol and McKab, Sergeants. — Sergt. - Major Knee, Col.-Sergt O’Toole, Q.M. Sergt. Wesney, Sergts. Shanks, Wills, Lennie, Boyce, Thompson, McKay and Walsh. Bmergs., Col.-Sergt. Murdoch, Sergt. - Major Flans and Sergt. Ferguson.
